Stanley Cup Final 2024: Oilers vs. Panthers score, live updates, highlights from Game 7 in Florida

The Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers will meet on Monday in a winner-take-all Game 7 to determine the Stanley Cup champion.

The Oilers are looking to become just the second team in NHL history to erase a 3-0 series deficit to win the Stanley Cup. The 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs are the only team that has achieved such a feat in league history. Meanwhile, the Panthers will be attempting to close out the series for the second time on their home ice after falling in Game 5.

Edmonton has thrived offensively over the past three games. The Oilers outscored the Panthers 18-5 during the span, and Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, who once looked like a brick wall, has yielded 12 goals in the last three contests. Star forward Connor McDavid has been thriving with three goals and seven assists over the last four games of the series.

On the other hand, the Panthers’ offense has gone completely stagnant with just five goals since their Game 3 victory, despite the two teams being very even in the shots department. If Florida wants to avoid being on the wrong side of history, they’re only to need goal scores like Matthew Tkachuk, Sam Reinhart, and Aleksander Barkov to rise to the occasion in Game 7.
