As the Major League Baseball season passes its midpoint, the teams with the best records in baseball are not the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves, as many preseason polls predicted, but the Cleveland Guardians and Philadelphia Phillies. Half of last year’s playoff field is sitting at .500 or below.
