Winston Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor Top 247 safety JaDon Blair announced his much-anticipated commitment Friday, July 5. The 6-4, 190-pounder from the class of 2025 chose to play his college ball at the University of Notre Dame.
The Fighting Irish beat plenty of top suitors to land Blair. Michigan and Penn State were the top contenders down the stretch. Louisville battled closely as well. There were rumblings at different times when it came to the Nittany Lions and Wolverines, but in the end, it was head coach Marcus Freeman getting the job done.
Blair went in-depth with 247Sports about his commitment, why he picked the Fighting Irish, and who he’s recruiting to join him in South Bend.
