‘Worst champion ever…’ Popular streamer Adin Ross causes outrage as he unloads on Leon Edwards following UFC 304 defeat

It followed a massive December bet that Ross made on Edwards against Colby Covington, whom he though the Brit would lose to before winning a one-sided decision.

Ross was recently streaming to his fans on Kick when he noted that he had lost a massive quarter-of-a-million dollars over Leon Edwards’ defeat. He went on a vicious rant, slamming the Brit for his performance and repeating that the fighter ‘sucks’.

“Oh, I want to expose a UFC fighter on God,” Ross began. “Leon Edwards you are by far the worst champion ever. You lost in your own home country, you f***ing suck, you are a disgrace to the UFC. You suck, you suck, you suck, you suck.

“You lost me a s*** ton of money, you are f***ing horrible at what you do. Suck a d*** you suck. Sorry, bro, but it’s a joke. He’s a f***ing champion and he’s fighting like that, Colby [Covington, who Edwards beat in December] is way better than you as a fighter, I’m just keeping it a buck.

“It’s insane, dude, he’s a champion fighting like that? What is that bulls***? The first round’s over and he’s talking about ‘I can’t breathe’. Get the f*** out of here bro! I don’t even know what to say, bro, I’m so flabbergasted on this s***.

“This dude was picking him up above his head and slamming him and s***. He was just manhandling him, just pathetic and sad, man. Leon, that is literally horrible!”

MMA stars and fans hit back at Adin Ross amid Leon Edwards criticism

Adin Ross’ intense and aggressive outburst saw the MMA community come down hard on him, with fans and even some star fighters taking aim. Most notably, Edwards’ former opponent Nate Diaz came to his defence with a foul-mouthed message towards the streamer.

The former lightweight contender, who had a famous battle with Edwards in 2021, shared a clip of the rant with the caption “How about someone beats your a** for talking you lil f**?” Ross had also claimed that he would be excited to be attacked by Edwards so he could launch a lawsuit.

Fans were also brutal in their replies on social media, with one writing: “Adin Ross is such a man-child. Leon Edwards definitely did not perform as we all wanted him to but that’s how it works. There is always going to be an off night. Adin Ross is an idiot.”

Another added: “Imagine being an unathletic YouTuber, and talking about Leon Edwards, one of the very best fighters on the planet, like this… What a strange world we live in. Should be interesting when Adin Ross runs into Leon Edwards at a UFC event.”
